“ I am a regular customer of the cafeteria (for work I eat the menu daily), and in the approximately 20 days a month of the 12 months of the year, that I go, I have NEVER and I say NEVER seen cockroaches, lack of hygiene in the establishment or the service that serves me. I don't know if the people who have these "visions" have some kind of animosity or paranoia, because in those more than 200 days, not seeing any around me or on my table makes me think about two things: either that I have to urgently go to the eye doctor or that many people have to have them looked at. In the meantime, I will continue coming daily to enjoy a menu (one of the few places I have seen it) in which the food on the plate does not swim in a pool of oil and I do not leave with indigestion. Gentlemen, if you don't have a reservation you have to wait, well yes, but like in so many places where I have ever shown up with my family to eat and not having a reservation I have had to wait for a table to be free. And the price.... There is no room for discussion, and this is said by someone who spends many hundreds of euros throughout the year. ”
“ We've already had the daily menu there on other visits to Santander, and always, like today, it's VERY VERY GOOD. Located on San Fernando Street, for people of a certain age like me, in what used to be Cafeteria Los Corzos and next to what used to be the CAPITOL, is this cafe that, in addition to breakfast, sandwiches, and tapas, serves an EXCELLENT DAILY MENU every day at an even more EXCELLENT price. We arrived at 3:10 PM, and the very attentive wait staff seated us at the only empty table. During lunchtime, the place is packed with people waiting their turn. They immediately served us our drinks and a tray of warm bread, and we took our order: First, a salad with Burgos cheese, croutons, and a honey-mustard vinaigrette, beautifully dressed and presented. Grilled vegetables included carrots, artichokes, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, and toasted ham, sauteed in olive oil and garlic. DELICIOUS. For main courses, fried pout with salad, fresh and delicious, cooked to perfection, with a sauce on top that enhanced its flavor. Also included were fish balls—I think they were also pout in green sauce—tender, juicy, and flavorful. For dessert, natural strawberries and pudding. All accompanied by wine, homemade wine, water, and a couple of coffees that weren't included in the menu for only 28.60 for two people. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY, accompanied by very good and fast service. We'll definitely be back. If you're in Santander and don't mind going out of the city center a bit and want to eat VERY VERY WELL at a very affordable price, without sacrificing good service and excellent quality, La BRUJULA is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED option. ”
“ Excellent daily menu. I've been meaning to try it for a while, and today was the day. A delicious risotto with squid and pork cheeks, followed by stuffed peppers. The portion was perhaps small because they only serve two. The bread was delivered warm. I'll come back another day; they also post their menu daily on Facebook. ”

“ Looking for a place to eat we decided to go without a reservation since many restaurants/cafes/bars in Santander do not make them. The service has been good on the part of the waitress, there has been some confusion on the part of the waiter but not very important. The food is tasty and in sufficient quantities to not leave hungry, the mountain stew is very good. The desserts are good and could be improved. But if we start to look at the price of the menu, which is 9.90, the quality and where it is located, which is a main street, is very good. ”
